PGA Ridgewood Country Club

Let the playoffs begin!  This week the PGA tour moves to the Ridgewood Country Club, New Jersey for the first week of the FedEx Cup playoffs.  Defending champion is Heath Slocum.

1 – Tiger Woods $13.50 Betfair

Tiger is the pick this week after a better performance in the PGA two weeks ago and the chance of amazingly not currently qualifying for the Ryder Cup team I think he might he ready.  Due to Tiger’s poor form and forced layoff from the tour he will start at 109th in the FedEx cup rankings.  This has one major benefit a 7.10am tee time in round one.  I see Tiger coming out of the blocks Thursday morning and this presents a great opportunity to secure the current Betfair odds and look for a crush after round one.

2 – Lucas Glover $120 Betfair

Liked the way Glover played last week with four rounds in the 60′s and is a player that can put great tournaments together when he finds form.  A major winner in form at $120 I think that is enough to suggest he is worth including.

3 – Camilo Villegas $65 Betfair

Probably not a great year by the Columbian’s standards but he still sits 15th in FedEx cup standings.  Brings a top 10 finish at the PGA into this and he looks to be gaining momentum at the business end of the year.

Top Australian: Adam Scott seems to be playing well of late if the putter behaves he could be in for a great week.
