Czech Open Thursday August 19th – Sunday August 22nd
This is one of the European tour’s smaller tournaments with the majority of the big name player’s not present. This makes the event really wide open but also presents us with plenty of value.

I am selecting on top after his strong finish at last week’s PGA where he tied for 12th. He has a 7.50am tee time in round one and I am looking for him to make a fast start and be well in contention.
Betfair price: $24 to back and $25 to lay
Suggested bet: 2.5 units to win
Alejandro Canizares
I have been really impressed with the consistency of this guy in 2010. He will enter this tournament fresh off a two week break and I see him again taking advantage of what is a sub standard field and he is sure to feature over the weekend.
Betfair price: $27 to back and $28 to lay.
Suggested Bet: 2 units to win

This week’s roughie (minimum 100/1 to qualify) is not showing much form to raise interest but I am selecting him off his opening round off 66 in last month’s British Open. It would be a shock to see him win but at his current odds I think he is well worth a risk.
Betfair price: $350 to back and $380 to lay
Suggested bet: 0.5 units to win

Our top Australian this week is Rick Kulacz at odds of $6 on TAB Sportsbet this market currently has Brett Rumford at $1.60 and I think that is a good lay.
